Crimson sunbird

This is a seven-colour paper cut screen print of a Crimson sunbird which is native to tropical southern Asia from India, through Nepal, Bangladesh and Myanmar to Indonesia and Brunei. 

The print is made using hand-cut paper stencils, which are then individually placed on the silkscreen and used to mask out the area for each colour in the image.

Printed on high quality, 300gsm Somerset Satin soft white paper. Size is approximately 11x14 inches.
