Violet-backed Starling

This is a seven-colour paper cut screen print of a Violet-backed Starling which is found widely in the woodlands and savannah forest edges of mainland sub-Saharan Africa..

The print is made using hand-cut paper stencils, which are then individually placed on the silkscreen and used to mask out the area for each colour in the image.

Printed on high quality, 300gsm Somerset Satin soft white paper. Size is approximately 11x14 inches.
